Using UStudy

Terms of Service

These terms set out the rules and responsibilities that apply when you use UStudy's website and education services.

Last updated: September 1, 2026

By accessing or using the UStudy website, creating an account, submitting a student or education agent application, or using our education consulting or partnership services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the services for an agency or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

UStudy provides education information, course discovery, application support, agent partnership tools, and related guidance. Information on the site is general and may change. Admission, scholarships, visas, agency approval, and other outcomes are decided by UStudy, independent institutions, or government authorities as applicable; UStudy cannot guarantee any particular result.

You must be legally able to enter into these terms, or use the services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login details confidential, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

  • Provide information and documents that are complete, current, authentic, and accurate.
  • Review applications and submissions before approving or sending them.
  • Meet institution, visa, financial, language, health, and travel requirements and deadlines.
  • Use the services lawfully and avoid interfering with the site, accounts, systems, or other users.
  • Do not upload harmful code, impersonate another person, or use content in a misleading or fraudulent way.

Submitting an agent application does not appoint or authorize you to represent UStudy. An agency may describe itself as a UStudy partner or act on UStudy's behalf only after written approval and, where required, a separate agency or partnership agreement. That agreement will control if it conflicts with these general site terms on a partnership-specific matter.

Education agents are responsible for the conduct of their personnel and any disclosed sub-agents. UStudy may request supporting information, contact nominated referees, conduct reasonable verification or compliance checks, and approve, reject, suspend, or end access or a partnership in accordance with applicable agreements and law.

  • Provide complete, current, authentic, and accurate information about the agency, its personnel, experience, services, markets, and professional referees.
  • Give students accurate and current information and clearly disclose the agency's role, services, fees, and any material conflicts of interest.
  • Act honestly, professionally, and in students' best interests without guaranteeing admission, visas, scholarships, employment, migration, or residency outcomes.
  • Comply with applicable education, consumer protection, privacy, anti-bribery, marketing, immigration-advice, and record-keeping requirements.
  • Use only current, authorized UStudy or institution materials and do not alter, misuse, or make misleading claims about them.
  • Obtain all required notices, consents, and lawful authority before collecting or sharing a student's or third party's personal information or documents.
  • Keep agent portal credentials confidential, limit access to authorized personnel, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access, data incidents, complaints, or compliance concerns.

Agents must collect, access, use, store, and share student information only for legitimate education application and support purposes, in line with applicable privacy laws, the UStudy Privacy Policy, student instructions and consents, and any agency agreement. Agents must use reasonable security safeguards, restrict access to personnel who need the information, and securely retain or delete records as required.

The services may include information, links, or integrations provided by educational institutions and other third parties. Their terms, policies, fees, deadlines, and decisions are outside our control. You should review their requirements before relying on or purchasing their services.

UStudy will disclose any fees charged directly by us before you agree to a paid service. Institutions and other third parties may charge separate application, tuition, visa, insurance, or service fees. Unless required by law or stated otherwise in writing, third-party fees are governed by the relevant provider's terms.

The UStudy name, website design, text, graphics, software, and other site content are owned by or licensed to UStudy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, modify, scrape, or redistribute site content without permission.

We aim to keep the services accurate, secure, and available, but provide them on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free content, or the accuracy of information supplied by third parties. Nothing on the site is legal, immigration, or financial advice.

To the extent permitted by law, UStudy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of the services, reliance on third-party information, or decisions by institutions or authorities. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may restrict or end access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, information is fraudulent, security is at risk, or the law requires it. You may stop using the services at any time and may contact us about closing your account, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, practices, or legal obligations. The revised terms take effect when posted, unless a later date is stated. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where UStudy operates, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available to you. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern promptly.
